The Power of Purpose
Purpose is one of those things that at first glance is so esoteric that many people disregard it’s power.
The context of purpose that I’ll use for this post, is how purpose in life is not only essential, but it is the life force of goal setting. Without purpose, there would be no point in having goals. After all, what would be the point of chasing your dreams when there is no ultimate purpose behind those dreams?
Purpose is something to keep in mind next time you find yourself struggling for direction in life. What is your greater purpose? Why are you here on this earth? Admittedly, these are “big” questions, but they are absolutely essential in order to live a fulfilled life. When you’re not following your purpose, you end up living your life at the whim of circumstance. Persistance towards one’s greater purpose clarifies the mind and allows for a life experience that is trully fulfilling.
The challenge here, as with other life knowledge, is it’s not in the knowing that counts, but in the doing. Defining your purpose and then living a life of purpose is not easy, but it is perhaps the only way to really “live” life.
